As a company, The Patricia Govea Collection is adjusting to the current circumstances we are all facing during this unprecedented time. These past few weeks, my team of 300 artisans has been facing new life challenges as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Patricia Govea Collection was made to help the Wixarika artisans live a better life. We are still committed to making a change through fashion and providing a living wage for our community.
We are still taking orders online, and our team is taking every precaution to ensure are being well taken care of. As we figure out a way to help one another during difficult times, you can make an impact from the comfort of your home.
Our sales contribute to the artisans living wages day today. With every purchase made not only are you buying a high-quality garment but contributing to provide for the artisans.
We are committed to donating an extra 10% of each sale to basic commodities for artisans and their families.
During these difficult times, we have taken precautions and enhanced sanitation measures and social distancing practices from our employees, here are the most recent operational changes we want you to be aware of:
- All employees will work remotely from home
- Maximizing cleaning measures from our distribution location to ensure safe product shipping
We will continue to actively monitor the spread of COVID-19 and will reassess and adapt operations accordingly.
